JKBOSE 9th Important Notification: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a crucial notification concerning the correction of registered particulars for class 9th students enrolled in government and private high and higher secondary schools in Jammu Division, including Leh, for the session 2023-25. This notification allows institutions to rectify any errors in student records without penalty until May 22, 2024. After this date, a correction fee of Rs. 200 per candidate applies until June 11, 2024. The process entails submitting correction applications along with supporting documents offline to the Divisional office and relevant Sub/Branch office.
Institutions must adhere to specific guidelines, including providing original class 8th marks cards and RR checklist mentioning relevant details. The Assistant Secretary/Incharge Officers will verify corrections, forwarding eligible cases to the R.R Section, JD. Important Points:
- Institutions can apply for corrections between May 9, 2024, and May 22, 2024, without any penalty.
- After May 22, 2024, a correction fee of Rs. 200 per candidate will be charged up to June 11, 2024.
- Correction applications along with relevant supporting documents (original class 8th marks card and a checklist mentioning RR Nos.) must be submitted to the Divisional office and the concerned Sub/Branch office in offline mode.
- The Assistant Secretary/Incharge Officers of the Sub/Branch Office of JKBOSE will consolidate and verify the corrections as per the class 8th marks card and forward all eligible cases to the R.R Section, JD, in hard copy as well as soft copy (in Excel format only) to the email [email address removed].
- The Head of the Institution must ensure they print a copy of the RR checklist for checking corrections for future reference.
- In case the last date falls on a holiday, the next working day will be considered the last date.
