JK Labour Card 2024: The J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board aims to empower labourers by providing access to various government schemes. Through this initiative, the government seeks to create a comprehensive database of labourers, facilitating the efficient implementation of welfare programs tailored to their needs. Registered labourers stand to gain special benefits and improved working conditions, thereby enhancing their standard of living and fostering self-dependence. The process entails online registration, ensuring easy access for eligible labourers to avail themselves of schemes such as fair compensation, gratuity, bonus, and health insurance.
For labourers in Jammu and Kashmir, accessing government benefits is streamlined through the J&K Labour Registration portal. By registering online and providing necessary documentation, labourers establish eligibility for a range of benefits designed to enhance their livelihoods. The portal not only simplifies registration but also offers avenues for lodging grievances and accessing support services, further strengthening the bond between labourers and the government. Through this initiative, the government underscores its commitment to uplifting the lives of labourers and promoting inclusivity in its welfare agenda.
