- Open the official Staff Selection Commission (SSC) website
- Go to the Login / Candidate Dashboard section
- Enter your:
- Registration Number
- Password
- Captcha Code
- Click on Login
- After login, find “Stenographer Option-cum-Preference Form 2026”
- Click on the link to open the form
- Select your Post Preference:
- Stenographer Grade ‘C’
- Stenographer Grade ‘D’
- Choose Departments/Ministries in order of preference
- Arrange them carefully (top = highest priority)
- Drag or reorder options (if allowed)
- Choose only those posts you are willing to join
- Double-check eligibility for each post
- Click on Preview to review your choices
- Verify all preferences carefully
- Click on Final Submit
