CUET UG Application Form 2024: Last Date Extended, Register Now.

CUET UG Application Form 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the Last Date for the submission of application forms for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2024) which will be conducted in the month of May 2024. Candidates who have not registered for the Cuet UG entrance test can register themselves by March 31, 2024 before 9:50 pm.

The previous deadline for the submission of CUET UG Application Form 2024 was March 26 2024. The announcement was made by UGC chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar on X (Formally Twitter). “The deadline for online submission of the Registration  form for the CUET-UG ENTRANCE – 2024 has been extended to 31 March 2024 (Up to 09:50 P.M.) based on the request received from candidates and other stakeholders like Universities and Colleges.

In another development, the National Testing Agency informed that in pursuance to the direction by Higher Education of the University Grant Commission (UGC) and Central Board of School Education (CBSE), the NTA has introduced two additional subjects (Fashion studies and Tourism) in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) – 2024 Entrance to promote skill subjects in true spirit in line of the New Education Policy (NEP) recommendations.

The NTA on Twitter further said, “The candidates may note that those who have already submitted their online application form for CUET (UG) – 2024 may also add these subjects during the correction period provided by The CUET. However, the candidate for selecting more subjects will pay an additional fee (if applicable).”

CUET UG Application Form 2024 Process

Step 1: Visit the CUET Official Website and Open CUET UG 2024 application form link. https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/

Step 2: Open the new candidate registration page of you have not registered on CUET earlier.

Step 3: Register and get your login details (Registration ID and password).

Steo 4: Log in and fill out the CUET UG application form.

Step 5: Upload the required documents, and make payment of the application fee.

Step 6: Submit your form and download the confirmation page.

CUET UG Exam scheme:

There will be 33 languages and 29 subjects in CUET UG 2024 Entrance Test. A candidate may choose any subject/language as desired by the interested University/ Organisation. The candidate is supposed to attempt 40 questions out of 50 in each language paper.

General Test: For any such undergraduate programme/programmes being offered by Universities where a General Test is being used for admission. The candidate is supposed to attempt 50 questions out of a total of 60.
