JKBOPEE GNM ANM Result 2024: The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has invited Online applications for eligible candidates interested in taking the Common Entrance Test for admission to GNM & ANM Courses for the Academic Session-2024 in UT of J&K’s Government/Private Colleges/Institutions. The selection process adheres to the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002, and associated regulations, including the Jammu & Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004. Applicants must review the Electronic Information Brochure-2024 for guidelines, with important dates ranging from receipt of online applications starting April 22, 2024, to the deadline for submission on May 6, 2024, along with a fee of Rs. 1000 payable online. 

Candidates are advised to thoroughly read the e-Information Brochure before completing the Online Application Form, with detailed syllabus and examination/test dates to be notified separately. It is crucial to stay updated through the BOPEE website (www.jkbopee.gov.in) as the Board does not bear responsibility for publication delays in print media. 1. Provisional Merit List: The results of the CET held on June 2, 2024, are published in Annexure-A of the notification. This includes all candidates who appeared for the test.

2. Notification and Notices: This result follows the notifications and notices issued by the BOPEE on April 17, May 19, and May 27, 2024.

3. Answer Key: No representations or objections were received against the answer key that was uploaded on June 2, 2024, which means the results were prepared based on that key.

4. Tie-Breaking Criteria: In cases where two or more candidates have the same score, the merit is determined based on the following:

Marks obtained in the Chemistry component of the entrance test.

If Chemistry marks are the same, then marks obtained in the Physics component are considered.

If both Chemistry and Physics marks are the same, then marks obtained in the Biology component are taken into account.

If all marks are equal, the candidate older in age is given preference.

Candidates should refer to Annexure-A of the notification for the detailed merit list and check their respective standings and further instructions regarding the admission process.

2. Last date for filling the Online Application Forms: May 6, 2024 (Midnight)

Eligibility Criteria:

For admission to the GNM Course, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria, including being a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh, aged between 17 and 35 as of December 31, 2024, and having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Science/Arts and English, securing a minimum aggregate of 40% marks for Open Merit Candidates and 35% marks for Reserved Category candidates. Additionally, candidates who have passed 10+2 with English with 40% marks in Vocational ANM course or are Registered ANMs with pass marks are eligible, provided they are medically fit.

Similarly, for admission to the ANM Course, candidates must meet specific requirements, such as being a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh, aged between 17 and 35 as of December 31, 2024, and having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Science/Arts and English, securing a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate. Additionally, candidates who have qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by the National Institute of Open School can also apply, provided they are medically fit.
