JKBOPEE GNM ANM Notification 2024: The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has invited Online applications for eligible candidates interested in taking the Common Entrance Test for admission to GNM & ANM Courses for the Academic Session-2024 in UT of J&K’s Government/Private Colleges/Institutions. The selection process adheres to the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002, and associated regulations, including the Jammu & Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004. Applicants must review the Electronic Information Brochure-2024 for guidelines, with important dates ranging from receipt of online applications starting April 22, 2024, to the deadline for submission on May 6, 2024, along with a fee of Rs. 1000 payable online. 

Candidates are advised to thoroughly read the e-Information Brochure before completing the Online Application Form, with detailed syllabus and examination/test dates to be notified separately. It is crucial to stay updated through the BOPEE website (www.jkbopee.gov.in) as the Board does not bear responsibility for publication delays in print media. The Common Entrance Test, if conducted, will be offline, and candidates are urged to adhere to guidelines and timelines set forth to ensure a smooth application process.

Eligibility Criteria:

For admission to the GNM Course, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria, including being a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh, aged between 17 and 35 as of December 31, 2024, and having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Science/Arts and English, securing a minimum aggregate of 40% marks for Open Merit Candidates and 35% marks for Reserved Category candidates. Additionally, candidates who have passed 10+2 with English with 40% marks in Vocational ANM course or are Registered ANMs with pass marks are eligible, provided they are medically fit.

Similarly, for admission to the ANM Course, candidates must meet specific requirements, such as being a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh, aged between 17 and 35 as of December 31, 2024, and having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Science/Arts and English, securing a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate. Additionally, candidates who have qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by the National Institute of Open School can also apply, provided they are medically fit.

  1. I have to take admission in GNM course through lateral entry as I have done MMPHW after my 10th examination. Do I have to fill the general GNM examination in which 10+2 is eligibility or there will be a separate exam for lateral entry into GNM through BOPEE
    Kindly guide me in this regard…..
